Data Accessed

Good dog a11y checker accesses the content of your active Google™ document, including text, headings, images, lists, and metadata (such as font sizes and colors). It also accesses the document's structure to provide navigational markers (paw prints) to help you locate issues.

Data Usage

The accessed data is used solely to identify accessibility issues (such as low contrast, missing alt text, or incorrect heading structures) and to provide remediation suggestions. All processing is performed locally within the Google Apps Script™ environment during your active session.

Data Sharing

No user data is shared with third parties. All analysis remains within your Google™ account and the active document session. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties.

Data Storage & Protection

We do not store your data on external servers. Information processed during a scan is handled within the temporary memory of the Google Apps Script™ execution and is not persisted by the application once the session ends. Your data stays within the secure environment of your Google Workspace™.

Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not collect or store user data on any external infrastructure, there is no retention of your data. Access is only active while you are using the add-on. You can revoke the application's access at any time via your Google Account™ security settings.

Children's Privacy

Good dog a11y checker is not directed at children under 13, and given the documents.currentonly scope described above, the add-on does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. See our Terms of Service for the applicable age requirement.

Changes to This Policy
